About Us

Itchen Dance Festival is a vibrant community festival for individual dancers and dance schools. Established in 2023 the festival offers both open and novice sections in a range of genres and is situated along the south coast in Southampton, Hampshire.
Itchen Dance Festival was founded by Miss Sammy Pickard, who originally set out to create a welcoming environment for dancers of all ages and levels, especially for those just starting out or seeking a more relaxed, supportive experience. Since then, the festival has grown into a busy and thriving event, attracting dancers from across the region over two weekends per year while maintaining it’s friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
